Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced AKQA Head of Emerging Technologies Andy Hood will chair the festival’s Mobile Jury at this year's awards.

Commenting on his appointment, Andy said: “We are in an unparalleled era of rapid innovation. Stories about artificial intelligence, holograms and robots have become the norm. And yet the mobile phone remains the core of our connected life, our single constant link to the information we need and the people we care about. The continuing drive to create more value, more engagement and more amazement from this connection is celebrated at Cannes like nowhere else. It is a privilege to preside over this jury, and one I am excited to experience.”
