Wednesday 8 March marks International Women’s Day 2017, a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and a call to action to accelerate gender parity.

This year’s theme, Be Bold For Change, encourages each one of us to challenge ourselves, defy boundaries and celebrate achievement.

AKQA is hosting an AKQA Insight with journalist, writer and comedian Viv Groksop; blogger, podcast host and author of Ctrl Alt Delete: How I Grew Up Online, Emma Gannon and four-time ParalympicsGB sailor Hannah Stodel. Hannah will attempt to complete sailing’s most brutal challenge: The Vendée Globe – sailing non-stop around the world single-handed in 2020.

Hosted by General Manager Rachel Barek, the panel will discuss how they have taken risks and pushed themselves to their limits.
